Ik heb dit topic aandachtig gelezen, en de voorbeeldinstellingen overgenomen. Echter, dit alles vereist toch enige toelichting van Canon zelf, of persoonlijke hulp en uitleg bij de instellingen.

Als ik hun voorbeeld volg, dan krijg ik op het scherm van mijn 580EX-II een andere modus te zien (een vorm van E en M tegelijk).

De eerste proefshots lijken goed, maar verandering in flitsbelichtingscompensatie lijkt dan op geen enkele manier meer mogelijk. Ook word er in het scherm een ISO waarde aangegeven, en deze komt niet overeen met de ISO waarde die op de cam ingesteld staat. Dus zodra ik naar hogere ISO waarden grijp dan verkrijg ik overbelichtte platen omdat de flitser nog steeds denk dat ik ISO 100 gebruik. Dat kan niet de bedoeling zijn van dit verhaal. De flitser zou de instellingen van de 1D-mkIII over moeten nemen.

Al met al een heel moeilijk en onduidelijk verhaal van Canon en ik ben al meer dan een uur aan het klooien. Op gegeven moment heb ik dan ook maar een flitser Cfn reset gedaan omdat ik er niet meer uit kwam.

Als iemand wel helemaal perfect weet hoe dit hoofdstuk werkt (met een 1D-mkIII en de 580EX-II) dan hoor ik dat graag, en ben ik zelfs bereid om een afstand te reizen om persoonlijke uitleg en hulp hierover te ontvangen.

Het mooie is dat, als je eenmaal in deeze modus zit, en je gebruikt ISO 100, dan krijg je altijd perfect belichtte flitsplaten doordat de meting door de flitser plaats vind, en niet door de lens (ETTL)

Ik zoek wel even verder of het ergens anders beter omschreven is.
