Nadeel is inderdaad een groot woord misschien, de afwerking zal ook wel goed zijn. Het was meer ten opzichte van de 50D Magnesium contructie.boels069 schreefCOLONZonder kunstof is WiFi niet mogelijk, van een nadeel is geen sprake.

Mechanisch doet Al+polycarbonaat niet onder voor Mg; het lijkt mij zelfs minder breukgevoelig.

En ik moet eerlijk zijn dat die 5 nou niet bepaald goedkoop aanvoelt.hdb schreefCOLONIk vraag me altijd af waarom plastic als nadeel gezien wordt.
Voor het digitale tijdperk heb ik heel veel jaren met plezier dia's en foto's gemaakt met een EOS-5 (zonder D).
Die had ook een volledig kunstof behuizing. Het was een oer degelijke camera.
Een nadeel zou kunnen zou dat door de kunstof behuizing de camera te licht van gewicht word.

Wat een geweldige camera was dat... Het is, buiten de EOS-650, de camera waar ik met het meeste plezier aan terugdenk. Keep in mind that Canon stated in that aforementioned white paper that it actually had to slow down the AF in video mode, because it was too fast, and was jarring. Which means when you're shooting stills in live view, it should be even faster to focus than this!

Noise is effectively nonexistent at ISO 100 and 200 (remember we're showing you results here with ACR's noise reduction set to zero) and only very subtle at ISO 400 and 800, in areas of plain tone. At ISO 1600, speckles of chroma noise begin to obscure the very finest detail in our test scene, but as with the 70D's JPEGs, it is only at ISO 6400 and above that it's really problematic, assuming you're comfortable doing some NR post-capture.
We've only had limited time with the 70D, though, which means it's too early for us to say definitively how well its live view AF system works in practice. But based on what we've seen so far we're pretty optimistic - it's certainly streets ahead of anything Canon users have experienced so far.
We're also pleased to see Canon cramming in all the best features from its other cameras. The touchscreen interface that the 70D borrows from Canon's Rebel series is, we think, just about the best in the business. It complements the new AF system in offering focus point selection by touch, along with the ability to 'pull' focus from one subject to another during movie recording simply by touching the screen. Meanwhile the on-board Wi-Fi offers genuinely useful features, including the ability to use your smartphone as a remote control (complete with live view), and to browse and rate your images on a tablet. These may not be features you use all the time, but they expand the possibilities of what you can do with the camera.
